The travel tech start-up from Lucerne brings freedom back to campers and creates added value in tourist regions at the same time. Parkn'Sleep is the first parking app for campers in Europe and responds to the current needs of motorhome travelers with an innovative concept: Independence, spontaneity and safety.
Parkn'Sleep is a sharing platform for camper sites and stands for spontaneous travel. It displays official sites with live availability. Hosts such as private landowners or municipalities can advertise their unused spaces with just a few clicks, let campers stay overnight and thus generate income. Campers can drive to the sites spontaneously and register themselves on site at so-called "check-in points" using a QR scan and pay via the app. The system is fully automated for hosts and campers and reduces the booking effort and customer communication to a minimum. Every site is legal, checked and linked to local regulations and tariffs. Municipalities receive their tourism taxes directly via the platform.
Thanks to its high scalability, the "Airbnb for campers" (NZZ) has developed from a Swiss tourism concept into the fastest growing site platform in Europe after just 18 months and already has over 9000 sites in 23 European countries.
